Happy Thanksgiving!!

*Post by Angela.

And so the holiday season officially starts. We all know what that means - eating, eating and more eating (oh...and family, too)! We started our season of eating a little early with pre-Thanksgiving on Sunday, and while I was a little too busy prepping dinner for 15 to fully document all the steps I took and all the dishes I made, I wanted to share some of my favorite holiday dishes (all of these dishes can be made kosher AND, with the exception of the turkey, vegetarian), including the Pioneer Woman's mashed potatoes, which are some of my favorite things in the entire universe.  Also gracing the table...

maple-glazed carrots...

slow-cooked Brussels sprouts...

parsnip pancakes (from my good friend Shulie over at foodwanderings.blogspot.com)...

cranberry sauce...

gravy...

and of course, turkey!

Hope you are having a wonderful, safe, and very full Thanksgiving, from the I Flip For Food family to yours!

You bad, bad, bot and girl!! I dropped by to visit you blog and I scroll down and see all the fab places you've been to in LA, thinking these two are getting around. Before I continue Mark, that whole LA handle name does not sit well with me. so, I am scrolling down and get to your Thanksgiving post and see my parsnip pancakes..and here I am sitting mute on twitter you didn;t like the trial run so you ended up not making them!! Ok, one more thing Mark, you are the cutest think and you look so young in person so that fierce photo does not impress me. Ok, now the turkey looks awesome and cranberry and yay I made for the first time pan roasted brussels sprouts that had not a tinge ofa bitter edge to them. So yay!! and that is it for now until my next rant!! and Mark more to come! ok not gonna edit this comment, ugh!
