Feliz Cinco De Mayo Margarita
Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at 02:50PM *Post by Mark
Maybe because it just wouldn't be right to have just an Asian recipe up on the 5th of May, and also because I'd like to start making (and posting about) more cocktails that you can make at home...
I give you the first Margarita of the day. Something so easy, any amateur mixologist can concoct. Make yours with:
- A salted rim
- Two parts tequila (for best results use Patron)
- Two parts margarita mix
- One part orange liqueur (for best results use GM)
- Splash of fresh lime juice.
Make sure to pair your refreshing margarita with your enchiladas today in celebration of... of... whatever it is we're celebrating. Regardless, I imagine a few more of these celebratory spirits will be consumed by day's end.
Happy Cinco De Mayo, everyone!

Not a big drinker (cough, cough, Mark! now you got a reputation thanks to Angela, haha:), but if I do I do go for a margarita or a beer:). Love those two!! k...Mark don't start with the calorie count...probably the worst drinks for girls but I like them nevetheless!!
Ha! He brought the reputation on himself...and he brings up calorie count for himself, he likes to watch his figure...
lol, I love it that he watches his figure!! hahha, Mark we are having way too much fun at your expense....but on a serious note re the margaritas....I am so ignorant about it so I don't know what tequila to ask for...but I know to distinguish between the good tasting margarita to the not so...if they use cheap tequila it has some sort of aftertaste but when they make they w/good tequila it tastes amazing....looking for advice for the next time I order tequila? Thanks!!
Seems like I missed the recommmendations!! That hekps:)
